Aftermath World Trade Center ArchiveToday marks the five year anniversary in where the world would change forever. After that fateful day, award-winning photographer Joel Meyerowitz was the only photographer that had the rights to access Ground Zero with the help of the Museum of the City of New York and some city officials.

He spent nine months taking photographs of the destruction but also the human spirit during the recovery and rebuilding effort. Aftermath: Word Trade Center Archive is the result of his work, featuring 400 of his best shots, many taken with a large format camera, so no one will ever forget the tragic event and the dark days that followed.

The book is available through Amazon.com for $48.
