Vitamin D Cuts Pancreatic Cancer Risk

We spend so much time focusing on the outside of our bodies with stuff like skin care, hair gels, clothes, shoes, that sometimes we forget about taking care of the inside. I’m guilty myself but I’m trying to slowly change myself, and when it comes to your health it’s never too late to try to live a healthier lifestyle. So I was interested in the recent study by Harvard that showed if you take the recommended daily intake of Vitamin D lowers risk of pancreatic cancer by 43%. A pretty big finding, seeing how pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of death from cancer in the United States, affecting an estimated 32,000 people. It is also one of the most deadly seeing only five percent of them will survive past five years.
While Vitamin D is made by the body when in contact with sunlight, you’ll need to supplement with milk, sory, fish, eggs, and liver to get the daily suggested amount.
