Although not yet available, and aimed at the EU market anyway, the charger will juice your cell phone for up to 90 minutes (480 of standby) without actually recharging the battery, you need to keep it plugged in for the phone work. Still, the options in an emergency sound appealing (even if the waste issue sounds bothersome).
