Armani Exchange Tweed Blazer
Posted by Duch | 10:32 am
Fall is quickly approaching for us lucky enough to experience the four seasons, and that means it’s time to retire the linen and khaki blazers for the rest of the year, and time to bust out blazers more suited to the season — blazers like this.
The Armani Exchange Tweed Peak Lapel Blazer ($225) features a two-button front with flapped front pockets, a slim fit, and durable 44% cotton, 28% viscose, 28% polyester construction. For some odd reason they are calling this color black, but call it grey, black, whatever — we’ll still take it.
Burton Wheelie Double Deck
Posted by Duch | 10:46 am
Always getting your black luggage confused with someone else’s? There’s no doubt that us humans tend to play it safe but that also leaves to boring. The new Burton Wheelie Double Deck declares war on black and conformity. This colorful and surprisingly affordable replacement for your drab black luggage features a double deck design, 70 liter capacity and features extra niceties like a zippered compartment for travel documents, a shoe pocket, a hideaway eternal backpack attachment, a removable laundry bag, and a wheel assembly that uses skate wheels. Available in four colors, including the dreaded black if you must, my favorite is the the houndstooth design of the Equestrian Antique Ivory color, which is sure to be noticeable on your next trip.

If you’re looking to stick out around the office without going to extreme lengths like wearing a pink suit, you may consider a tie from Manfred. Manfred ties are a high-quality imported tie that is known for its bold patterns. Hand-made of Italian silk, Manfred Ties ($73) are precision cut and hand-folded, and are simply some of the most gorgeous ties you will ever see. Watches For The New Urbanite Geek
Posted by Duch | 11:00 am
We all had to learn how to read an analog clock at one point of our life, it was hard at first but then became second nature afterwards. Well the nightmare is not yet over, TokyoFlash a Japanese watch company has some quirky watches available that just turn time reading on its head. These watches combine elements of analog, digital, an abacus, graphing and basic math; harder to decipher but makes it much more entertaining.
These things are an instant conversation piece so make sure you have the patience to help anyone that says, ‘cool watch but how do you read the time?’

Bonus points to anyone that can post the correct time displayed on the watch above.
Gray Is The New Blue
Posted by Duch | 9:07 pm
Gray or Grey for our American readers is making a comeback when it comes to jeans. Although your classic blue jeans will never go out of style, the gray jeans are becoming the next big thing. And no, these aren’t the gray acid wash jeans that you can spot in 80’s movies and music videos.
In general, gray is making a huge comeback in men’s fashion wear. The Spring ’07 Perry Ellis revealed earlier today at Olympus Fashion Week was entirely white, gray, or a shade close to it. And I won’t be surprise to see more men’s collection that’s main palette is a shade of gray.
This is a trend to definetly keep track of …
Don’t Be A Square
Posted by Duch | 10:26 am
When trends get picked up by the general public(ie. Walmart sells it), naturally there’s a backlash from the fashion elite. One trend on the way out is the square toe shoes that have been popular for several years. Coming back strong are the classic pointy or wing-tip shoes.
Always a good thing when the classics come back in style, not only are the classics generally more stylish but it’s also very generous to one’s wallet because we usually already have the items in our closets. Dusty but nothing a bit of TLC will take care of.
Longines LungoMare, Affordable Style
Posted by Duch | 12:01 pm
One of my favorite new watch collections was revealed earlier this year, the Longines LungoMare. There’s no doubt that the new collection is targeting a younger crowd with its contemporary style and affordable price, retailing at around $1000. Don’t let the low price tag throw you off, this watch is packed with style. The design is influenced on a older model dating from 1933, thus the reason at the hint of Art Deco styling.
Longines may not be as recognizable watch making brand as its counterparts but watch aficionados would say otherwise. During the early Apollo projects, NASA sent a few dozen watches to see how they would perform under the stress of space travel and Longines was only 1 of the 3 that passed. Ultimately it was Omega watches NASA decided to make the official watch of astronauts.
The LungoMare collection is available in three sizes men’s, ladies’, and midsize.

The Mullet Making a Comeback?
Posted by Duch | 8:52 pm
The saying “What’s old is new again” is none more apparent when it comes to fashion and trends. Don’t look now but the once cool-to-you mullet you had in the 80’s is now making a strong comeback in Europe. Maybe it’s the lack of trailer parks in Europe that they can pull it off without being ridiculed, but whatever it is, you can probably expect the trend to hit North American shores anytime now.
The trend started by the fashion icon David Beckham in the early 2000’s is now being carried on by guys like dance singer star Gunther and young soccer stars like Fernando Torres of Atlético. Now coined the “euromullet” it is more subtle but undeniable still a mullet.
I myself will wait for someone like Brad Pitt to make it mainstream over on these shores before donning it myself.
Stylish Wallets from Paul Smith
Posted by Duch | 1:53 pm
Unlike women and their purses, men’s wallets haven’t necessarily been an accessory to make a statement. The typical selection would be limited to black or brown, more adventurous men would opt for some sort of reptile skin instead of cow leather. A lot of that is due to our wallets hiding in our back pockets so you could easily get away with your ratty 5-year old wallet in your $200 Ben Sherman pants.
Paul Smith the British fashion label has released some of the nicest wallets I’ve seen for a long time that counter the typical black and brown wallet. His latest line of wallets are your typical plain black leather on the outside but have prints on the inside of iconic-british items like the Mini, football, and Triumph motorcycle. But the one which is by far my favorite is the naked girl wallet, which features a Vargas-esque girl holding a phone. There was also a special edition naked girl wallet made for the World Cup which featured the girl holding a soccer ball instead of the phone.
So the next time you’re thinking of accessories, don’t forget to complete the picture with a nice wallet because you don’t want to be embarrassed on your first dinner date with a beautiful girl.
Prada Debuts First Frangrance for Men
Posted by Duch | 11:17 am

Prada a staple for both stylish men and women’s closets for decades has just released its very first fragrance for men named Amber Pour Homme. The new fragrance has been in the works for nearly 2 years and is expected to generate $20 million in sales for the fashion house.
Miuccia Prada was apparently very much involved in the development of Amber Pour Homme:
“I felt like a nose, it was the best job, I had fun creating the fragrance. I just tried to imagine what I would like if I were a man. You know people ask me if there is a muse, an inspiration, a thought driving my ideas, but I just know what I like,” said Prada.
Now I’m not one to second guess a lady so successful as Miuccia Prada, but there is no doubt this fragrance was designed by a women. You won’t find Matthew McConaughey promoting this one, it is a very light scent that reminds me of what you smell like after taking a shower at your girlfriend’s house. This one is definitely not for me, but if you’re the type that wants to smell better than your girlfriend or have a fondness for Cher this could be the cologne you’ve always wanted.
Amber Pour Homme is currently available at Neiman Marcus as Prada Man.
