World Time Clock
Posted by Duch | 10:39 am
Simplicity plus function, this clock is an ingenious concept that will make the jet setter’s life a bit easier. Looking like a grenade, this 12 sided clock has a city of each time zone placed along the outside which denotes the 12 o’clock marker for that city on the face. So if you were in New York or wanted New York time just place the New York side at the top position and you’ll instantly be able to tell what time it is in the Big Apple. The only drawback is if you’re city is not marked then you would have to find the corresponding timezone it’s in, which sort of takes away from the simplicity of this clock. Too much thought hurts the brain.
The clock can be purchased for $75 at MossOnline:

Mondrian Hotel, Mingle With Celebs
Posted by Duch | 1:29 pm
Located in West Hollywood on the famous Sunset Strip, this ultra-modern 4 star hotel will leave you feeling like a movie star. Famous for the rooftop bar and lounge appropriately named Sky Bar. Opened in 1999, the Sky Bar quickly become the hottest night spot in town for celebs. It’s an intimate, low-key outdoor venue, where you can lounge poolside on large chaises and enjoy a spectacular view of L.A. below.
The reason why the Sky Bar has remained popular in a town where trends come and go is the exclusivity. This also poses a huge problem, it’s not enough to just look good and have a hot date, you somehow need to get on the guest list. Other than having someone in the know, the easiest way is to stay at the hotel because a hotel room key immediately gains you entrance to the Sky Bar.
Also, bring lots of cash, drinks are a flat $18 each, not including tip.

Air Travel and Grooming Tips
Posted by Duch | 12:42 pm
With the recent terrorism scare in Europe new regulations about carry on products were put in place. Unfortunately the new TSA regulations aren’t too welcoming if you enjoy a high standard of hygiene. No liquids which means a ban on colognes, no aerosol cans which means a ban on body spray, and no gels which leaves a lot of toothpaste and face wash out of the question. As you can see, maintaining one’s upkeep is now a lot more harder but not impossible.
A recent NY Times article gives us pointers on what grooming products will pass security. The article mainly focuses on women’s products but certainly can be helpful to us guys. The basic rule the author gives is to keep to powders, sticks, and wipes.
My suggestion: baby wipes (unscented of course).
